Yoga Retreat at Les Passeroses
7th-14th July 2007 - £450

Drew is now offering a Yoga retreat week at a beautiful yoga centre situated in sunny south west France.

This week will give students the opportunity to practise yoga in an environment which is safe, joyful, and calm. There will be two classes per day, one in the morning and one in the early evening. In class each individual will have the opportunity to practise at his/her own level, making the week suitable for students of different abilities including those who may be new to yoga and those who may have practised other yoga disciplines.

During the week we will explore different areas of the body and how to effectively open them in a safe way. This will lead to a complete practise by the end of the week that will make you want to never miss a practise again!

We will also explore the flow of energy in the body in different types of poses as well as the effects of the poses on the nervous system and the other body systems.

The remainder of the day may be spent by the pool or exploring the countryside.

Optional Transformative Spirituality meditation classes will be held each day at no additional cost. At some point during the week Drew will give a Purna Yoga nutrition lecture, touching on the basics of the Ayurvedic, Chinese and Western nutritional systems and their application to daily life.

What's included : yoga instruction, fresh fruit and meusli immediately after morning yoga, large vegetarian lunch and evening meal (except on one evening where you eat out), accommodation on a shared basis, luxury towels and bed linen, quality yoga equipment. Please bring a towel for use by the pool.

What's NOT included : Flights/travel and transfers. Please see the locations page for information about getting here, and transfer options. Optional therapy treatments. Bike hire. Eating out one evening.
